I grew up in the Bay Area of California, not off-roading or around cars at all. I grew up playing sports, snowboarding, surfing and hiking.
I went to nursing school in Portland, Oregon, then started working as a registered nurse in Seattle, Washington. This is where and when I really got into wheeling. I bought my current 1998 Wrangler with some mild work done to it, and immediately fell in love with the Offroad lifestyle. Less than a year after I bought my TJ, I started a one ton swap.
At the end of 2021, I made a huge life decision; one that has been the most rewarding of my life so far. Two weeks after I completed my brand new one ton swap rebuild, I left Washington with my TJ and hit the road as a travel nurse! In the last almost three years, I have traveled all over the western United States, letting my love for off-roading guide my compass.
Since then, I have bought and built my own truck for a great mix between towing and overlanding. I have also completed my own LS swap in the TJ, which was a huge step forward regarding my mechanical experience.
Besides rock crawling and camping/overlanding, I still love hiking, going to the gym, and am now breaking into the Offroad race scene.
Off-roading has been a constant source of knowledge, adventure, beauty, and especially new friendships with people from all over the country.
Stay inspired, and stay blessed!
