Nothing kills a trail run faster than hood flutter. Factory latches? Weak. The Combat Off Road Billet Aluminum Hood Latch Set eliminates that nonsense with precision-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum construction. Built to handle the abuse of high-speeds, rock crawling, and whatever else you throw at your Jeep, these latches keep your hood locked down, no matter how hard you send it.

No plastic, no BS—just solid, adjustable turnbuckle-style latches that ensure a tight fit every time. Finished in black anodized coating for corrosion resistance, these hood latches give your rig an aggressive, functional upgrade.

• Fits: 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU
• Built to Lock Down: 6061-T6 billet aluminum—tougher than your stock latches could ever be
• Eliminates Hood Flutter: Adjustable turnbuckle tension keeps things tight, even on high-speed runs
• Weatherproof and Trail-Ready: Black anodized finish prevents corrosion and looks badass
• Direct Bolt-On Install: No drilling, no modifications—just swap them in and go
• Combat Off Road Lifetime Guarantee—because we build gear that lasts

Tired of parts that need special tools? These latches install in minutes using basic hand tools—no drilling, no cutting, no headache. Just adjust the turnbuckle tension for a snug fit, bolt them up, and you’re ready to roll.

• Pop the Hood: Unlock and raise your hood to access the OE latch cams.

• Remove Factory Latches: Unbolt the two plastic OE latch halves using a 10 mm socket.

• Prep the New Latches: Thread each turnbuckle to about midway for installation ease.

• Bolt On: Install billet latches using supplied stainless hardware. Torque to 8–10 ft-lbs.

• Adjust Tension: With the hood closed, twist the turnbuckle until the hood sits flush and tight—no gaps, no rattle.

• Lock It In: Tighten the jam nut on each turnbuckle to secure your setting.

Backed by the Combat Off Road Lifetime Guarantee—because once you install these, you won’t ever need another set.
